Professional development is defined by its impact. When was the last time you attended/designed/facilitated a transformative PD? What made it so impactful?

My regular plea to teachers: "Please ditch the traditional weekly word list. The only way students learn to spell & read words is through orthographic mapping. The assignment of the traditional weekly spelling list does the opposite of orthographic mapping. #DitchTheWordList
