A1: I’m thinking a letter with their first day picture and hopefully a chat. I’m sending families the end of year slideshow I’ve made. #maeshomelearning
#maeshomelearning A2 - I have a question ... what will be available for us to contact our families? Canvas and Google Classroom will not be accessible. Beside emails, mails and phone calls, what can we do? Caroline, Christine, how are you sharing your virtual classroom?
A3: My class makes a book at the beginning of the year of questions they answered. The kids love when people have the same interest. I think the tribes also help. If we are together the whole day we will become close quick. #maeshomelearning
A2: I plan on still writing the kids during the summer. Also I will update my virtual classroom and send the parents an email letting them know there are new activities. #maeshomelearning
A5: the high of this week is getting to talk and see my kiddos on the phone/google hangout. Also Pippa has started saying “good job” when I help her with her shoes haha #maeshomelearning
Q4: the kids love the google hangouts. I call and check in with the ones who aren’t able to make it. I’ve had one on ones for those who aren’t able to come to the class hangout. #maeshomelearning
A5-I think this experience has made us all more flexible and willing to learn new things for our kiddos. That flexibility should stay with us in the new school year. #maeshomelearning
#A4-I won’t ever take for granted that we’ll be there the next day. I’ll hug each baby a little longer. To piggie back of @mary_krevonick , I will check cubbies for rouge snacks more often.#maeshomelearning
