math8 Ss @FJHChargers have been investigating transformations for the past 2 weeks. Today they put their skills to the test playing transformation mini-golf thanks to Amplify classroom. Ss were locked in and creative as they tried to get the low score on each hole.

math8 Ss @FJHChargers used tangrams to try and figure out 2 different 🧩. Only trick was Ss could only use translations to solve it. Then Ss had to write the “math code” #thinkingclassroom

Sometimes Ss just need time to practice a new concept. Today HonAlg Ss @FJHChargers got that chance as they work on factoring quadratic trinomials. Tables worked on a #thinkingtask 🧩. Then partners competed in the roll it 🎲game. Lots of observations and patterns being 👀

In HonAlg @FJHChargers❤️ polynomials. Today Ss got to show off their skills on the unit8 test. Ss enjoy a Valentine 💌 treat while they tested. Then afterwards Ss investigated the math behind the ❤️ shape & had a chance to make a math Valentine in @Desmos

HonAlg Ss spent block1 this week preparing for their functions assessment. Ss worked on #thinkingtask puzzles, they got their 🧠 warmed up with a blooket game. Then we ended class playing a class review game of cornhole. Ss then self-assess their mastery level with wayground.
