Winner gets No. 2 Sandwich in the final.

Second game getting ready here. Battle of four-time defending state champions, highly anticipated for a while now. No. 1 Uxbridge vs No. 5 Watertown. Only two field hockey programs to ever four-peat in state history face off in D3 state semis. This is big time.

Six seniors from Uxbridge High signed their agreements to play sports at Division 1 colleges today.
Here are softball stars Lola Grobe and Erin O’Day and field hockey players Amelia Blood, Julianna Casucci, Kendall Gilmore and Julia Okenquist putting pen to paper in Uxbridge.

This UHS team is not only amazing at the sport, I will attest that they are the nicest, most humble kids out there. I have had the pleasure of teaching most of them throughout there years here at UHS. Love these kids

Last time Walpole lost to this degree was 2017 when it lost 7-2 to Rhode Island powerhouse Moses Brown. Both an indicator of how harsh 3Q breakdown was & just how good Uxbridge is. Spartans outscored the defending D1 state champs & the defending D2 state champs a combined 14-2.

As far as anticipation goes, it doesn’t get bigger than this in the reg season.
No. 2 Walpole (10-0) visits No. 1 Uxbridge (9-0) in a battle of field hockey titans.
Porkers have a 47-game unbeaten streak. Spartans have a case as best MIAA team — ever.

D4 STATE FINAL FINAL: No. 1 Uxbridge - 3 No. 2 Monomoy - 1 Spartans pull off the four-peat, joining Watertown as the only programs to do it in MIAA field hockey history. Julianna Casucci with a hat trick to help Uxbridge take the rematch against the Sharks.
