Wow, just wow! Our Arts Awards Students were absolutely brilliant at Young Voices! They have sang their hearts out and had a 90s rave too! (I think myself and Miss Phelan appreciated that more) I will post some photos up over the holidays! Have a lovely break guys!

@PGS_CCF Amazing Faith!!! Sorry I missed it!

A massive Well Done to our newly promoted CPL Faith Parkes. She had shown a massive improvement in her attitude and performance since the beginning and deserved this so much. Everyone at cadets is very proud of her and we call can’t wait for her to be an amazing CPL.

Pickling day was a success! The students picked the swedes, washed them, peeled them, chopped them, made a brine to soak them in, and made the pickle using vinegar, honey, chillies, lemon juice, mustard seeds, cumin, paprika. Leave them for a week or so, then taste!

We've been busy in the kitchen today, making our own tomato and bacon pasta! All Students should have a recipe with photographs and widgets on, so they can have a go at doing it at home too! Unfortunately, there was none left for them to bring home as they ate it all!😮

We had an amazing workshop from Animation Nation today for Arts Award. We made our own stop-motion animations! They were incredible! I am very proud of all the students who took part☺️

Our Spring Term extra curricular offering has lots of exciting clubs for a wide range of interests - please come along if you are interested in a particular club, or come and speak to a member of the Performing Arts team to find out more! 🎭🎶 @PenistoneGS #BeBrave

This year we will be once again competing in the amazing 'Battle of The Bands' competition at @horizon_cc @Barnsleymushub - auditions will be held in PA2.08 NEXT THURSDAY 🙌 Could you take the crown? 🎸 #BeDetermined

This will also be uploaded to our website next week alongside the other extra-curricular activities we have. New comers welcomed and encouraged, a new year is a great time to try new activities. Mr Clegg's board game club and the history club are just a few examples! #bebrave

In food this half term, we have looked at different cooking methods such as simmering, boiling, and frying. We spent our last day frying onions and simmering hot dog sausages!! Mmmm

There was some amazing climbing going on yesterday at The Foundry climbing centre in Sheffield. Our students are so brave!!
