@northernassist The service that is no longer a service. No trains, no team, fines, fines and more fines. THEN remove the use of rail cards for trains before 10am. Meaning especially students, young adults, your future customers yet again being ripped off and stranded. #notfitforpurpose

@northernassist The SAME price ticket. He got to work late due to your late train in the morning, worked longer. He is an apprentice & can’t afford to purchase several tickets a day. Standing room only. Son has a disability. BUT you keep fining away! Northern is not fit for purpose.

@northernassist Please explain,why you insist on trying to fine your customers? Son has travelled on your lines for 3yrs. Yesterday he left work late; he used his pre booked ticket for the hour he should have travelled. The same ticket price. Yet you tell him “Wrong ticket!”

@northernassist You say “Sorry” Meaning; pitying, sympathetic, regretful? Constant cancelled trains x constant delayed trains x constant fines = constant upset, confused, late for work, depressed, ripped off customers BUT massive profits for Northern. The company should be ashamed.

Constant cancelled trains x constant delayed trains x (proud of their own) fine policies = pissed off, ripped off, broken customers BUT massive profits!

In today's rounds of #WorldCupOfStations we call at the four regions fighting for a space in the semi-finals spanning from up in the North East down to Yorkshire & Humber and from East and to West Midlands. Our network really does cover a huge part of the England, and it's not even all covered in the regions listed today.

@northernassist Such a POOR service, no service, broken service. Constantly leaving passengers (some vulnerable) stranded especially late in the evenings, not just weekends but during the week too. Not offering rail replacement yet people have purchased tickets and you don’t refund. Shocking.

@northernassist You’re government owned When you cancel trains, are you thinking of the people you leave stranded. 20 year old son has a part time job; 6 of his trains cancelled this week alone. Money earned for each shift spent on Taxi’s. Stranded at midnight WHY? #costofliving

@northernassist No mention of this on the service updates. For the last two to three years you have been appalling, it’s constant. Young adults are unable to make a living using Northern as a means of transport. Service is not fit for purpose.

@T1Diabolical It’s similar when I collect my sons prescriptions every month for the last 6.5 years. “Will he need to repeat his prescription for next month?” To which I reply every time “Yes, every month for the rest of his life” ….. same person asks me the same question every time 🤦🏼‍♀️
