Each grade level and course team “tied it all together” at our last MLT meeting of the year. Some teams created resources for teachers, others for parents and students. It's always a good thing when they ask for MORE time! @Twhitter_MCS @MCS_OAA

One K-5, the other 6-12 but the last 2 yrs we have been working K-12 with the @MariettaCitySch Math Leadership Team to PREPARE and IMPLEMENT the new GA math standards. @Twhitter_MCS and I had some fun reminiscing on the evolution of MLT during our “tying it all together” activity

@JMeadeMathCoach and I challenged the @MariettaGAhs Alg Ts with providing targeted & intentional small group review and reteaching to end the year 💪. We provided the on-ramp with resources based on ALDs and the Ts put it into high gear with little prep time!! @MCS_OAA

@MariettaGAhs Alg PLC reflected on review practices as we intensify our EOC prep. We differentiated review/reteach. Reviewing can be easier and be done w/o data. Reteaching requires data and a little more planning but can have MAJOR impacts. @JMeadeMathCoach @Twhitter_MCS
