A little math game (made up by my 8 year old) before bed😊 She thought we needed to practice our doubles facts and then threw in some subtraction and tallies for fun.

Exploring the concept of rounding today in Grade 3. Students used a blank number line and coloured tiles to discover the relationship between numbers. “Which numbers are closest to 0? Which numbers are closest to 10? What do you notice about 5?”@M_Mustangs_

Using post it notes to help us add 2 digit numbers with regrouping. Students put their place value knowledge to good use! @M_Mustangs_

Grade Threes worked hard on their Place Value Gingerbread Houses today! 🎄”What is the value of your gingerbread house?”. Students were asked to construct a house with base ten paper and represent their value in 4 ways. @M_Mustangs_
