Two weeks ago, I established a collateral situation if a kid wanted to borrow a pencil. I loan a pencil, they give me their phone, a shoe, their backpack, etc. They return the pencil, I return collateral. 10/10 recommend!

Today my student teacher watched me try something new, change it for the next group bc it flopped, then change it again because it still didn’t work. Valuable lesson for her to see that a) veteran Ts have lessons that flop & b) you can change your plans to meet the needs of kids.
