@_DIGB Add to that 2-0 up at home against Celtic and couldn’t match MON half time tactical change, playing for a 1-0 win against 10 men at Fir Park, putting on Barron when chasing a goal against Motherwell at Ibrox, starting players in big games who’ve barely been in the squad.

It wasn’t the players that didn’t make changes until HT against Motherwell when we were clearly getting destroyed in midfield It wasn’t the players that didn’t sense McInnes going man for man at HT and then didn’t change shape until after we’d conceded 2 goals at Tynecastle

@FullTimeGers You’ve got to look at what he started with. The drought against Celtic, European football improving. Might have been 1 trophy in 9 but he built something and took us forward for the first time in years!

An unpopular opinion perhaps but Gerrard won 1 trophy out of a possible 9. He might be someone that “gets it”, but he faced similar stumbling blocks his successors have. In the league winning season under Gerrard we bottled both domestic cups before the semi final stage twice.

@Amato861 Sterling no chance. He’s made mistakes this season as much as any other, and is injured every 5 games. Chukwuani is poor, Naderi looks every bit a 3rd division German striker. Barron gets pass marks for me. The rest, all not good enough.

@ibroxrocks Rohl too slow to match up with their changes again. Happened in previous games and was obvious after 10 minutes of the second half. Tactically inept.

And there it is. This team’s complete inability to play a 90 minute performance has cost us time after time.

@1872MB @RFC_Michael_ Not just Butland at fault here - midfielders jogging back and Sterling in no-man’s land. Same for the second goal - Sterling well out of position again. If that was Tav, there would have been an uproar!

Even worse seeing it back , in the ground you could see it went right through butlands legs 😭
