If we want to improve student relationships across campus we have to prioritize supporting teachers (& particularly new teachers) and providing them the tools necessary to be able to (comfortably!) do their jobs Teacher retention = Consistency = Stronger Student Relationships 💯

Our first annual Early National Period “Friendsgiving” was a success! I’m always impressed with these students creativity when you give them an opportunity to show it!

If a student can go an entire school day without having a single interaction with a teacher it is safe to say that their classes are too big.

Effective leaders know to create the best team that you have to spend time with the team. And that doesn't mean long weekly meetings, but daily in the hallways, classrooms, bus line, cafeteria, etc.

Effective leaders understand that teachers are the most important factor in student success in the classroom. More than technology, curriculum, and even the leaders themselves. Therefore, they appreciate and value teachers so they will be most effective for their students!

Have a student you're struggling with? Try the 'two-by-ten' strategy: For two minutes each day, 10 days in a row, have a personal conversation with the student about anything the student is interested in. Wonderfully simple and wildly effective.

We love a Friday game of trashketball‼️🏀 Students had to recall the first ten amendments (bill of rights) AND make it in the trash can to earn a point per amendment 🏆
