@GeorgeJeffersn Rare for us but agreed. A strongly worded email usually is enough to reverse these claims. The new stripe charges around these are bs though.
More needs to be done specifically for software where chargebacks are concerned.

In situations like this we’ve been fairly successful with threatening legal action, specifically small claims court (UK)
Most people who chargeback rely on no action being taken - getting a serious looking email often scares them and can lead to them revoking the chargeback

Customer signs up via @stripe, passes all fraud checks, 2FA, chargeback protection activated. 6 months later, submits a "fraudulent charge" for every payment, net cost to me: $127.44 in Stripe fees, plus marketing acquisition cost plus support costs. Customer has committed a crime, there will be zero repercussions for them. And we're all supposed to just accept this? lol.
