Yesterday I had my convocation ceremony at @NipissingU for my Bachelor of Education. So thankful to my family and friends for celebrating with me and for supporting me through this program! I am proud to say I am officially an OCT! 🥰👩🏼🎓👩🏻🏫🎉
At St Philip we are so excited to share that Mrs Burguete is the recipient of the Director of Education Award. She’s an incredible Difference Maker in our school community. 💕Congratulations @MsBPHI
Our collaborative Minecraft museum builds are really starting to come together! Today we used classroom resources to add information about Rocks and Minerals to our museums.
Today we went outside to try a sedimentary rock demonstration. We mixed rocks, gravel, sand, baby powder and water. Tomorrow we will check out how our sediment settled.
Students are now very familiar with our ROM Museum Math Minecraft world, and it's such a fun way to learn about rocks and minerals. Today we explored the Igneous rocks at the volcano site!
Today is Bob’s birthday! Apparently he decorated the class, added a family photo to our wall and his name to our October birthday cake! He brought Minion stickers for his classmates! So blessed to work with @jenn_E_Gee who was in kahoots with Bob, and brings joy to all.
@MrsJPJohnson@StPhilipOCSB@MsBaileyOCSB Any time with Ms Bailey is a best life moment!! (I'm sure it is with you too Mrs. Johnson, I just haven't met you yet! 😉) 💜💜💜

This friend learned about snap circuits today and taught his classmates! He learned how to use different switches for different outputs (fan or horn). We're going to have a snap circuit club all week!
