Our collaborative Minecraft museum builds are really starting to come together! Today we used classroom resources to add information about Rocks and Minerals to our museums.

Today was our first time experimenting with digital art using Google Drawings. We learned about value, space and form. Amazing work Gr. 4!

So excited to start my new journey as a Grade 1 teacher at @StMaryOCSB today 🎉

Today we went outside to try a sedimentary rock demonstration. We mixed rocks, gravel, sand, baby powder and water. Tomorrow we will check out how our sediment settled.

Students are now very familiar with our ROM Museum Math Minecraft world, and it's such a fun way to learn about rocks and minerals. Today we explored the Igneous rocks at the volcano site!

Today is Bob’s birthday! Apparently he decorated the class, added a family photo to our wall and his name to our October birthday cake! He brought Minion stickers for his classmates! So blessed to work with ⁦@jenn_E_Gee⁩ who was in kahoots with Bob, and brings joy to all.

I always get emotional when we play music together, and this song was the perfect choice to give me goosebumps. We know we can count on each other!

This week was soooo busy but we were lucky to have these 2 art teachers! Super work!

This friend learned about snap circuits today and taught his classmates! He learned how to use different switches for different outputs (fan or horn). We're going to have a snap circuit club all week!
