You never know where students will take you. In 4th period today we looked up the life cycle of a cricket as a lone cricket hopped around the classroom. “He’s just vibing over here,” one student reported after our new friend was cornered.

My 7th-graders cheered every time we read a chapter from Ghost, and they were disappointed when we finished. They are big @JasonReynolds83 fans and were excited to create these one-pagers about the novel, exploring theme, character development and writing style. @FISD_PearsonMS
