I think if you want to support an indie project (even if they are popular/big) AND want them to stay free for everyone
You need to understand, Merch drops, ADs, Patron/Kofi, ARE A MUST
The artists are not being paid for their work. Fan support is what keeps the project going.

What sucks about all the current indie animation "dramas" is that you could definitely make a point that people are overreacting but every other person here is so ignorant they don't realize they could be creating a hostile environment for women and minorities
