My student won “Teacher for the Day” and she chose me to shadow! Today was AMAZING! She led our calendar time, helped her peers in small group and even celebrated students that were doing a great job! She says she wants to go to @UTSA to become a teacher like me! This is my why!

One of my students from last year moved out of state after the school year and I was so devastated because we had the best bond! We’ve now turned into pen pals and it makes my heart SO happy! Relationships first! @NISDLeonSprings
