The grade 2’s working together to compare and order numbers. Lots of clear communication and good collaboration needed! 😊👍🏼

A big thank you to the Ottawa Safety Council for coming in to share their Walk Safe presentation with us! The grade 2’s had a lot of fun, while learning how to stay safe when out walking and crossing the street in their neighbourhoods 🚦😊❤️

We had a great time at the Rock the Arts puppet show. One of our own lucky grade 2’s even got to see what it was like to be a puppeteer! 🎭

Playing “Pumpkins and Ghosts” in the gym, to practise coordination, balance, and our throwing and catching skills 🎃👻😊

The grade 2’s had a blast painting our classroom pumpkin and transforming it into a cool pineapple 😎🍍 Happy Halloween!

Today we learned about Michelangelo - Italian painter and sculptor. We learned how he painted the Sistine Chapel and the challenges he had to overcome to do it. Then we learned what it was like for him to paint the famous ceiling, by doing some upside down art! So much fun 🎨

The grade 2’s did an amazing job with their Math challenge this morning! Lots of good collaboration, trial and error, and number knowledge needed! 😊
