If I was a betting man I would put money on a bet that the Moe/Cockrill play in the current bargaining with teachers is invoking this section of the Saskatchewan Employment Act. A supervised vote of the government’s last offer. If so, teachers should reject it.

See the Saskatchewan.ca at the bottom of this sign. That means Saskatchewan tax payers paid $15,000 per sign not the SK Party. Let that sink in.

The prospect of people being forcibly removed by police with an injunction; the Native women’s bodies in the dumps; their daughters demanding justice & on the frontlines; the bureaucratic coldness. I am tired of trying to get straight and cis people, governments and organizations to care about rising anti-2SLGBTQIA+ hate. I am giving my all to this fight - to defending 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ people. When will straight cis people in positions of power speak up?

It’s climate change. Name it. We are going to be in a constant state of emergency from now on as a world. What you’re seeing here in Canada, with infernos burning out of control- just the beginning. AND Indigenous communities pay the greatest price with Native lands/livelihoods burning to ashes.

Pride month is tomorrow. Today I wrote cards for some kids at school and stuffed them in boxes with some little goodies and candies just to thank them for being here and showing up and being visible. Pride this year seems and feels like it's going to be extra difficult.
