A veteran of the U.S. Army and considered by many to be a rising star in the Republican Party, Dustin Jacque Arnaud has been twice elected as a member of the Republican Party Executive Committee. He first joined the RPEC in 2016 by appointment of sitting members and went on to win re-election in 2020. During his time on the committee, he was unanimously elected as Vice Chairman twice by his fellow members. Dustin served as a board of election supervisor and was appointed to transition committee by former mayor Joel Robideaux. Dustin served as a volunteer driver in President Donald Trump’s motorcade in 2020 and worked vigorously to get the first Republican mayor in the history of Scott, La elected. Dustin has been married for 16 years to Amily, together they have three daughters. A Parishioner of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, where he made his First Communion and Confirmation.
