Aiming for 50 books in 2025. Won’t post them all but will highlight a few! Started with “What I Ate in One Year” by Stanley Tucci - part recipe book, part memoir, an easy and enjoyable read!

Taken a while to make any further reading progress this year but just finished this cracker! Really enjoyed despite finding some of the science beyond me!

Delighted to have the opportunity to step outside the classroom today to focus on using the new @PrometheanUKI boards that will be in the new @PerthHighSchool! Excited to try skills out with my students 😊 thanks to @digi_meg for organising and @TLCforUKI for a great session!

At the start of 2024, inspired by @MsJSanderson and @missgeog92 I set myself a reading goal of 50 books for the year… this gradually increased to 60, 75 and then 100, tonight I’ve smashed that goal (and only a handful of them are work books) 📚 #ReadingChallenge

@KHair_BusEd @MsJSanderson @missgeog92 Absolutely! Last year I set myself the resolution of reading for enjoyment again as all I did was read for school/ professional development. I am totally loving unwinding and not “doom scrolling” anymore ❤️

@HarrietBenbow @KHair_BusEd @missgeog92 If you enjoy reading it is well worth using, I also use StoryGraph which shows you slightly different info about the type of reading you’re doing! You can follow friends as well :-)

@KHair_BusEd @missgeog92 Aw amazing indeed! I didn’t quite make the 50 (life got in the way) but I did make it to 44 (and three quarters 😂) which is 2 more than 2023 and 8 more than 2022 though!

Friday is my day off to spend with the small child. He sometimes falls asleep in the car on the school run so all there is to do is sit and have some rare time to myself. I think most of my personal reflection happens behind my steering wheel.
