A5 I am amazed by the lessons on ps 59-131. These are not rigid scripts but a respectful frame of possibilities we can contemplate and design. They invite teachers to bring their own thinking to the table just as teachers will invite children to do the same. #G2Great

A4 Circles create a space to come together as a community to become one unit. Remaining present and genuinely listening. We offer circle prompts in our book along with follow up questions to support connection and a feeling of being heard, seen, and understood. #G2great

A 3/3 “...we cannot engage with our students around these issues when we have not engaged with our own selves. We have to know who we are and where we stand in order to have genuine and meaningful conversations with ourselves and others” (Mentor and Sealy 2021) #G2Great

A2 I love that the authors include both physical identities that happen at birth (hair skin) PLUS “layers of identity” we gradually add through life experiences. Too often we focus on physical attributes and ignore the transformational identity that occurs over time. #G2Great
