4KR was so excited for their first dissection! 🌱 We were able to observe capillary action and how xylem moves water up through the stalk and into the leaves! The more the students discovered, the more questions they had! @DAAElementary

4KR made robotic models of our hands! We discovered the mechanism by which our muscles control our bones to move our hands! Ss made videos identifying tendons, joints, bones, and muscles. @DAAElementary

4KR ended the week with a team building activity. Ss built models of urban expansion areas. We will be exploring the natural changes the earth undergoes and how humans interact with our changing planet! 🌍 #appliedsciences #inquiringtogether @DAAElementary

Ss created the rubric with expectations for their national identity projects, which will share their research & experiences related to their home countries. Ss gave each other feedback on their progress so far based on that rubric. I can't wait for them to present! @DAAElementary

4KR investigated what writing looks like across grade levels. They used the rubric and evaluated samples finding examples of leads, transitions, endings, craft, elaboration, and more! @DAAElementary
