Admin / teachers might be reflecting on individual and school wide goals while families reflect on their child’s.But reports should celebrate & feed forward to further T&L. #pypchat

This is officially my favorite piece of elementary art ever. Students our hard-working support staff and then drew portraits of them. So beautiful to recognize those that keep us operating all the time! @WAB_LIVE

I think by starting the process with central idea that’s open-ended, timeless, local and globally significant… and tasking them with exploring their project in multiple ways. But you have to start this way. Otherwise it feels forced. #pypchat

@kirtidakale @Shaza33 @levi_allison42 We have info sessions, asynchronous “training modules,” etc. of course. But asking for involvement based on your interest - and matching you to a student who could learn from your expertise- is what we look for at the end of the day. #pypchat

@kirtidakale @Shaza33 @levi_allison42 A4. We ask staff and parents to volunteer as Community Experts or Mentors if they’re interested in being part of the process. It’s tough with such a small school sometimes, but sharing in the process means photographing, helping with research, whatever works for YOU. #pypchat

We had a student join for Exhibit this year as his first PYP unit, and he had limited English skills. But he researched in Korean, and was still able to share his passion for coding with the community. #pypchat

@Shaza33 @levi_allison42 @ibpyp A2: #pypchat Most students owned the process of the exhibition with mentors guiding them wherever needed. With lateral entries in G5, we've had to hand hold a few ss and deliberately design engagements for them to be able to choose, take ownership and find their voice
