They escaped the room! Students had to escape the “Classroom Procedure” escape room to find the and unscramble the the 3 code words (the 3Rs!) @rmms_s @NorthBabUFSD @NBTO1 @northbabylonenglish @NBEnglishDept

Students worked hard to create our class charter! Groups were given one of the 3Rs to write about. I added an extra challenge ACCOUNTABILITY. Students even got to write rules for ME! Zoom in for our class charter and some rules for I have to follow! @NBTO1 @NorthBabUFSD @rmms_s

1 of 2 Students were challenged to work as a team to build the largest spaghetti tower! The challenge: build the biggest tower with 20 pieces of spaghetti, 60 marshmallows, and 3 ft of string and tape! We learned strategies and built out group work expectations! @rmms_s

Today was our last day in 7th period beginner ENL! Of course we had to celebrate with awards! Clara- Most Improved Reading Jonathan- Most Improved Writing Wanfer (Camera shy)- Most Improved English. I’m so proud of all of you! Have a great summer! @rmms_s @NorthBabUFSD @NBTO1

6th graders in ENL/ELA researched a phobia to create a brochure. Today we had a “Cookies and Compliments” party where students presented, gave compliments and ate cookies! Thank you Mr. Pei and Mr. Schulz for coming and bringing cookies! @rmms_s @NBTO1 @NorthBabUFSD

Students in grade 6 ENL decorated the ENL department tree today for the RMMS tree contest. Students in ENL and ENL/ELA decorated a flag that represented their home country or culture. Bulldogs ARE stronger together! @rmms_s @NBTO1 @NorthBabUFSD 🐾 🎄
