Congratulations to our Girls on the Run @GOTRRichmond for completing the 5K and our faculty that volunteered their time to encourage students to increase their level of physical activity and confidence.

5th graders applied force to boxes with different mass to see how far they could travel. Then we added friction to see how that impacted the distance traveled.

5th grade took science outside and got in MOTION! They ran and recorded their time at different lengths. Of course we finished by seeing who was the fastest 5th grader!

October was all about the HLP skill Character! Each week our news crew talked about this skill & practiced the sign language. Then teachers chose a student from their class with great character. Check out some awesome students with character!

@HarvieElem celebrated #NationalCrocDay by exchanging a jibbit with a partner in their buddy class! Students completed a writing activity sharing why they chose the jibbit for their buddy!
4th & 5th graders learned the difference between private and personal information. They determined a code for @Ozobot to travel through a maze by deciding if the clue should be kept private or was okay to share.

2nd & 3rd graders learned all about their digital trail and being safe online. They used @Sphero Bolts to create a digital trail with paint by visiting different sites!
