Today is 10/10 so we celebrated “Doubles Day”! We practiced our doubles to 20 facts to help us solve math problems faster!!

We love Mondays because we get to go to the library!!!📚

First house assembly of the year!!

We loved exploring our classroom library and learning about how to treat books today! The class also got to practice being expert readers 📖

We got to hold our baby chicks today!🐥

First grade has baby chicks!!! We have loved learning about life cycles and getting to see them go from egg to hatchling to chicks! 🐣

Market Say was a success!! We closed out our money and financial literacy units with a market celebration! The students came up with the prices for the items in their store and had “money” of their own to shop around. Love the creativity and hard work these kiddos have!

We are 120 days smarter!!

Today we learned about the 3 sounds of the ending “-ed”! We folded paper airplanes, they soared through the sky, and then they crashed to the ground. Each “-ed” ending using a different sound of “-ed”
