Amazing day spent at the Gordon Smith Art Gallery. Students were inspired by the pathways exhibit to create their own works of art.

Our breakdancing club teachers were on fire today. So inspiring to watch.

Connecting to our central idea, “the arts can be used as a platform for self expression” the students went on a scavenger hunt around the school and took notes on some of the art they found. Students also explored other art forms through stations in the classroom

Thankful to be at such an amazing school @MulgraveSchool it was so fun to walk into these surprises! Happy World Teachers’ Day to all of those amazing educators out there 🍎

Orange shirts and important conversations🧡. Through a collaborative brainstorm the students came up with ways they can take action today. We were also so lucky to sample some soapberry juice and we learned about why it is important in Indigenous culture.

Yesterday our class started “Want to Read Wednesday” and I highly recommend it to increase reading engagement! Every week we will read ONE chapter of a new book and then do a draw for the students that are interested in reading it.
