@MsMountebank Pauline can't be challenged. She has set up the structure of the party to ensure that she and nobody else can lead it. After she was ousted in the 90s, she created a new party of which she is the one and only person who can control it.

@kevinbonham One would expect that if you're doing a background check on a candidate, you'd find out said candidate changed his name, and then do another background check on that name to see why he changed it.

BREAKING: Pauline Hanson has dumped a key candidate on the eve of the South Australian election. One Nation says it has today become aware of serious allegations facing its candidate for the seat of Adelaide, Aoi Baxter. The party has confirmed an arrest warrant in the United Kingdom has been issued for him, for failing to appear in court over a sexual offence charge. Also known as Trent Baxter, the 31-year-old was charged in September 2023 with sexually touching a woman without consent. One Nation says it conducted a nationwide police check on Mr Baxter as it does with all candidates and found ‘no issues’. Party officials say they have been unable to contact Mr Baxter today.

Gina’s largesse and Hanson’s time could have been spent on candidate background checks. Instead we had burqa stunts and ‘no good Muslims’.

I’m sure there are but let’s apply Hanson’s own standards of smearing by association.
