Student created spaces can increase engagement, agency and new skills to problem solve. Ss have been exploring the Q-How can we use the space around us when need to problem solve? Today W came up with a great strategy and inspired peers to do the same!

Special thanks to Ms.Mrak’s mom for making a variety number sets to play Math Memory. They are helping us explore the variety of ways to represent numbers!

Some of the reflections that were shared: “I am grateful for Na’a.” “I am grateful for the Indigenous People that took care of the land before us.” “I’m grateful for Na’a changing for fall.” Little ones with the biggest words to share. ❤️

This week we created space for quiet reflection and gratitude. In our end of day gratitude circle some Ss shared powerful and beautiful thoughts with our class in connection to our work, explorations and new learning of Indigenous People. 🧵
