Officially reintroducing myself as a student who’s keen in learning and carrying others along. As someone who’s curious on how things works in the civil engineering sector I got to learn how to use AutoCAD. And In the same space I’m a mobile photographer.

UNILAG has reinstated its Student Union after nine years.
For almost a decade, students had no official voice.
Now it is back, but almost immediately, a video surfaced.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Folasade Ogunsola, said students should “collect the shege and pass it on”

Students of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH) Nnewi, School of Nursing stage a protest this morning over the shocking increase in their school fees from ₦90,000 to ₦580,000.

X is such an unreal place.
Imagine adamantly arguing with me that I’m underpaying my worker whose starting salary is N100,000 for 12 hours MONTHLY.
And mind you, this is a fully remote, part time job.
They teach my students 1 hr daily for 3 days in a week. But 100k is too small a pay when we both live in Nigeria??
Wonders shall never end.

This young lady makes videos showing how people struggle and suffer because there are not enough BRT buses to transport them to work/business.
Today they are threatening her to stop the videos for “embarrassing” the govt.

Just to Add that there was an increase in the School fees recently and even difficulty in student accomodation, yet, they amputated their salaries of these staff.
So unfair.
