I love science outside of school too! My own children love participating in @CNCNature Nature Exchange. We are so lucky to have a place where we can observe native plants and animals throughout the year. CNC is also a wonderful community partner with @teachingmuseum

New interactive science displays this week prompted thoughtful discussion and sparked student curiosity for our scholars! Our 3rd-5th graders have multiple opportunities to interact with science content as they walk the halls each day. @IsonSpringsES @AderoCarter @alexbatesedu

I got to see Mr. Chapman’s class learning about vertebrates using the GADOE Inspire Literacy Based Task. They were able to complete a chart of characteristics for each animal group by referencing evidence in the text. 🐦‍⬛🐍🐟🐆🐸 @AderoCarter @alexbatesedu @FultonCoSchools

Loved seeing our 5th graders ask their peers about mixtures and solutions with an image of shampoo. I was inspired and created a mixture for them to investigate this week. Opportunities for science are all around! @AderoCarter @alexbatesedu @IsonSpringsES

Mr. Chapman’s class was so engaged in their science investigation today! They mixed water, yeast, soap, and hydrogen peroxide to create this foaming chemical reaction. 5th grade science is the best!👩🏽‍🔬👨🏾‍🔬🤍 @IsonSpringsES @AderoCarter @alexbatesedu
