The @LASchools Family Academy initiated the month of June elevating the importance of literacy by third grade with @LosAngelesCOE, @FamsInSchools and @LAPublicLibrary in a conversation that included learning about the science of reading and summer strategies.

June is Children’s Awareness Month. Let’s focus on nurturing, encouraging, supporting and educating our students while prioritizing their social, emotional and physical well-being.
