@parkvoo They run their supermarket well. OK Zimbabwe failed because they had 100 execs who all want their children in pvt sch. Hapana kuromba. Simple economics. I buy all mine by the Borrowdale Anglican Church for under $10/week. Rear my own meat and eggs etc. 🤣.

FOODLOVERS (HONEYDEW). I have TRIED to go via this stop for my weekly meat, veges and titbits two Sundays in a row but have had to walk away WITHOUT. There is now a permanent queue to GO IN. Yes, we now queue to SPEND MONEY because the whole of Harare wants to shop there. I live in Borrowdale and drive past PnP, Spar and FreshCo etc just to get to FOODLOVERS. 🤦🏾‍♂️ What’s the formula? What is it? ‘VAKAROMBA’ HERE? 🤣🤣

🚨Sad💔🇿🇼 🇬🇧 🤦🏽 🔶Reports from his relatives indicate that Ndodana's motive for killing his family was rooted in allegations of infidelity. It is claimed that one of the daughters was not biologically his and that his wife had been having an affair, during which she allegedly transferred around £600,000 to the lover from their joint account. 📌Still, taking a life is unjustifiable. However, if a woman is guilty of paternity fraud, it is an unforgivable evil, a devastating betrayal that carries lethal consequences, as a man could easily snap upon discovering the truth. The agony is immense, and scripture reminds us that sin ultimately leads to death ☠️

@ReleGlo Instead of criticism this woman who seems to be doing a good job to raise and care for her son, why is no one asking where is this boy’s father. Our other problem is adopting Western perversion to practices which are as old as Africa. I don’t see anything wrong personally

Order has returned in South African cities. They will feel the adjustment pain of change for a little while but in the long run they will be fine. Zimbabwe also need a clean up of Rwandese, Congolese and Nigerians in Mbare, in the Kopje area. And Nigerians now own Vianona in Borrowdale. Chinese own all the old low density suburbs living in high walled homes. We need to also create our order in the streets.

What would happen if all Zimbabweans rallied behind the President’s vision, regardless of political affiliation or personal feelings, simply because he is our President and the vision is for the nation? How far do you think Zimbabwe could go if we united behind a common goal?

What follows is a direct quote from the government controlled @HeraldZimbabwe newspaper this morning. The brazenness of this regime is quite astonishing. “Dr Tagwirei gifted his son 33 hectares of land in Umwinsidale worth US$15 million and US$2,5 million in cash, while the President’s sons gave the couple US$100 000 in cash as a wedding gift. The high-profile celebration brought together the country’s elite, drawing a stellar guest list from Government, business, sport and international entertainment circles. Popular American R&B group Boyz II Men serenaded the guests with a live performance at the lavish wedding of Taonanyasha and Poneso after making a surprise appearance. Their coming to Zimbabwe was a closely guarded secret. Among the senior Government officials in attendance were the Minister of Finance, Economic Development and Investment Promotion, Professor Mthuli Ncube; the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Mr George Guvamatanga; Attorney-General Mrs Virginia Mabhiza and former Finance Minister Cde Patrick Chinamasa. Other notable political figures and Cabinet members present included Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development Minister Dr Frederick Shava, ICT, Postal and Courier Services Minister Tatenda Mavetera, and Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) chairperson Mr Michael Reza.”

The budget to run Pari and Hre hospitals is about US$25 million. Yet we are celebrating a tenderpreneur's son who looted from the Zimbabwean public. At least we see where our elite's priorities are!
zimDaily@ZimDaily

Hakuna Muchato wakadai More Than US$20 Million in Gifts Showered on Tagwirei Newlyweds More than US$20 million worth of gifts was unveiled at the wedding of Taonanyasha John Tagwirei and Poneso Tinomuda Janda as Zimbabwe’s business elite splashed staggering amounts of cash, luxury assets, cattle and high-end machinery on the newlyweds. Businessman Sternly Kondongwe gifted the couple US$100,000, while Koala also added another US$100,000 to the growing pile of extravagant presents. AgriFora’s Manungo made one of the night’s biggest contributions with a US$300,000 gift, while Makomo Resources chipped in with US$50,000. Presidential investment adviser Paul Tungwarara gifted the couple US$300,000, while Youth Minister Tino Machakaire presented them with a Defender Octa — one of only 30 in the world — valued at around US$470,000. Businessman Wesley Chingwena added a 140-horsepower tractor to the extravagant list of gifts as the wedding continued to showcase staggering levels of wealth, influence and luxury. Dr Kudakwashe Tagwirei and wife Sandra stunned guests after gifting the couple US$2.5 million and 33 hectares of prime Umwinsidale land believed to be worth around US$15 million. Businessman Wicknell Chivayo added US$250,000 and a luxury designer bag, while gold dealer Scott Sakupwanya gifted the couple US$500,000. Obey Chimuka and wife contributed US$275,000, while G6 gifted US$100,000. Top government official George Guvamatanga and his wife also made a grand gesture, gifting the couple 25 pregnant pedigree Beefmaster heifers from their award-winning farming operations, along with US$250,000. Gospel musician Everton Mlalazi gifted the couple US$150,000.

@kays1984 @penkendrick 100% correct. What surprises me is 80%+ of people being sent money are able bodied individuals. Secondly the financial illiteracy amongst even the very educated black Zimbabweans is shocking

@penkendrick If Zimbabweans are going to come to work in England they need to have their priorities right. A lot of them don’t, which is why their children end up lost to, because in many cases they are being raised by parents who aren’t grounded in reality.

I would like to commend Sekuru vangu Moyo, Wicknel Chivayo for withdrawing his case against his mother-in-law and former wife. Tinotenda. Pachivanhu chedu we don't condone the method which he had chosen to deal with their differences. Panenge panetsa panodeedzwa isu vazukuru toyananisa instead of elevating the issues to such levels. He should however be commended nekuzvidzora and did well for his children. That is life. However, as a matter of principle, I'm disappointed with how Muzukuru Tino continues to exhibit elements of weakness that don't align with his position. He should learn to state anyone's name when they err. Why can't you just come out in the open and say Sekuru zvamaita hazvisi right. Ndipo pandonetsana newe ipapo pakushanda uchiita zvekuhwanda. Leadership needs to be unshamedly bold at times otherwise what kind of vanguard are you when you can't even speak out against societal wrongs. Unoda kuhwanda too much when you should be leading in setting things in place.
