Educational assistants are such important members of school staff. Having a dedicated Educational Assistant at a school supporting the needs of newcomer students with refugee backgrounds is a rare and wonderful thing. EAs provide access to education. They deserve so much respect.

Today was our first visit w/ Nancy & Bella from @ON_TherapyDogs! Two of our #OakCreekAces were very excited to meet Bella. Others were apprehensive, but we’re hoping they gain trust/confidence over the weeks. What an amazing program! #TherapyDogs #SpecialEducation @oakwrdsb
