Robbie Crowell was my first student MGR @LakesFootball1 but he should have been one of my first players. At 9yo, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Since 1999, Robbie has battled multiple surgeries, chemo bouts, clots, transfusions, cornea transplants. He's now blind in one eye, has epilepsy & wears hearing aids. Despite it all, Robbie is relentless, a true warrior, and inspiration to live a full life. Robbie, a diehard @Cubs fans, was honored by #cubsforacure by throwing out the first pitch yesterday & meeting his favorite player, PCA. "This has been an opportunity of a lifetime...
