I have watched football since I was a child. I’ve seen referees influence games, but I have never seen players so blatantly throw a match when the club is literally fighting relegation. Imagine being the owner of a football club, spending over R20 million to keep the club running, only for your keeper and an outfield player to allegedly sell the game for R100k. Throwing away a whole season, jobs, fans, and the future of the club over greed. R20 million sacrificed for a quick payout of R100k. PSL is Crazy!
