Using the “Think, Rank, Write” UDL strategy to enhance a jigsaw discussion. Ss took notes on their video, then ranked the notes based on importance with a partner. Then, they wrote a summary statement to share! It led to deeper discussions and understanding! @IndusRvs #rvsed #UDL

Experimenting with sound👂🏼This week my students engaged in various experiments to observe how hearing and sound works. Our favourite? The classic “string telephone” an experiment you probably remember from your childhood! @rvsed @heronscrossing

Calm Cube sits outside my classroom and is available to any student who is needing space to self regulate, reflect, or just take a quiet moment. In and on top of the cube are sensory tools to provide relaxation, supporting the student get back into a positive head space. #rvsed

I’m looking forward to begin weekly outdoor Sharing Circles. Our talking sticks will ensure everyone gets a respected turn to share their feelings and thoughts, while connecting to the land and practicing Indigenous Ways of Knowing. #rvsed @heronscrossing
