The staff and students of the HSA at @JeanAugustineSS @PeelSchools were honored by City of Brampton Councillor Paul Vicente for annual Diwali celebration. I was also presented with a Certificate of Recognition for my involvement in the HSA, and I couldn't be prouder of the team.

Behaviour management is not about the child. Behaviour management is about the adults. A regulated calm adult can regulate a dysregulated anxious child. But a dysregulated adult can never regulate a dysregulated child.They need to meet them in their nervous system states.🧠🌱

Peel District School Board recognizes November as Hindu Heritage Month and the role they have played and continue to play in communities across Ontario to help build this province into a wonderful place to live, work and raise families.

It sounds like a wonderful event! Celebrating Diwali and showcasing the diversity of the JASS community is such a meaningful way to bring everyone together. Kudos to the Hindu Students Association and all the staff and custodians for their hard work in making the night a success!

On National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women, flags at all Peel schools and work sites are lowered at half-mast. We recognize the victims of the 1989 Montreal Massacre at École Polytechnique and continue to work to put an end to gender-based violence.
