Observing mystery bug number 2! First graders proved that these bugs are insects. They have 6 legs, 3 body parts, and 2 antennae.

1S mathematicians are working with two and three digit numbers… representing, adding, comparing.

Some first graders are spending time doing research during readers’ workshop this morning! They are reading about different insects to try to prove or disprove our predictions.

We’re having a publishing party! Nonfiction writers are sharing their teaching books. We are learning so much from our partners’ books.
