The Grade 1s worked so hard on their cereal boxes for Media Literacy. Each student planned, designed, and presented their cereal box! We learned about advertisements, target audiences, and persuasive words- all while showing off our creativity and having fun! @boyne_river

June is #PrideMonth! This month we celebrate diversity and demonstrate our support for the 2SLGBTQI+ communities. 🌈
Today the SCDSB will raise a Progressive Pride flag at the Education Centre and will keep it raised until June 30 to acknowledge Pride Month. 💟 🏳️🌈

We have loved every minute spent with our grade 7/8 learning buddies in @Nicole_Graham1 class! We’ve been exploring living & non-living things as we made some outdoor art and planted our own flowers/vegetables!

We had so much fun today prioritizing our mental health and well-being. Students participated in physical and mindfulness activities. They enjoyed a healthy snack and a guided nature walk. Thanks to all of our staff and student leaders. @SCDSB_Schools @opheacanada

While pink shirt day may have come and gone, an important message of being kind and standing up to bullying remains! We created some garland that can stay in our classroom and serve as a daily reminder about the importance of Pink Shirt Day… everyday! @boyne_river
