We have been studying holidays around the world. Today we learned about how Christmas is celebrated in France! Then we made advent wreaths!

Teamwork makes the dream work! Our scientists this week worked so hard and being good teammates. Today we built puzzles together to practice communication skills!

Yesterday a S brought in a book she wrote to read to class, and today she inspired three more friends to write their own stories! We heard a story about a ghost walk, a fairy portal, and our zones of regulation.

Thank you so much to the family that donated these mini pumpkins! We had so much fun painting them! 🎃

We loved our STEM activity today! We read Ten Timid Ghosts and then Ss were challenged to make a house that stood on its own and fit their own ghost inside.

Today we learned about milkweed! Ss explored milkweed pods, discovered where the seeds were, then planted the seeds outside our playground. We can’t wait for them to grow and provide food for our butterflies in the spring!

We made our Age Change Graph today! We can’t wait to see how the information on this graph changes throughout the year.

We started our kindness chain today! Whenever someone sees an act of kindness happening, they can share with me and give a strip of paper to that kind friend to add to our chain!

Draw-a-Rhyme stories are such a fun way to practice rhyming! Check our our monsters!

We are loving Reader’s Workshop! Today we practiced quietly reading our Learn About the World books.

We learned about @Seesaw today! Students explored the drawing option and posted to their journal. We are excited to use our iPads and the app this year!

Our first free choice play was a success!! What a great way to end our first week in Kindergarten 🤍

We read The Very Hungry Caterpillar and then made our own caterpillars with our new glue stick skills!

Yesterday we read The Kissing Hand. Today we talked about and then drew pictures of who loves us, just like Chester loves his mom.
