I met Freddy Taylor, an amazing artist and #residentialsurvivor. I bought his painting called Noongom - “Today” because it represents being happy with where you are now after healing and overcoming tough obstacles in life. Painting is his way of healing🎨❤️ #residentialschools

The students in Room 4 are working very hard on sounding out each letter or digraph, then blending the sounds together. We called this strategy, “Stretchy Snake.”

Definitely grateful to be among great educators whom I can engage in rich and meaningful conversations, and also learn with and from on a daily.
