What a great first week @wazosonps We ended our week with a fun investigation into how our brains help us perceive our environment, and how we can trick our brains too!

The grade 6s @wazosonps are learning about the power of YET!

Thank you so much to @tylerwatt for coming to @wazosonps to speak to the grade 5/6s. We learned a lot about elections and the provincial government. Also, thanks to Mme Woodend for organizing this event.

The grade 5/6s @wazosonps reflect on what it means to be a good writer. “It means talking to the reader through the writing and making them feel the emotions like it’s happening to them” and “To be a good writer you have to open up to the world” ❤️

The grade 5/6s @wazosonps had a math test this week. Before starting, students were given three minutes to look over and discuss the test with their peers. At the end of the three minutes, they returned to their seats and started the test. Such a simple yet impactful practice ❤️
