🚨 Nicki Minaj Lawsuit Update Nicki Minaj and Pink Friday Productions have now filed multiple major pleadings in the lawsuit brought by 24/7 Productions, the case alleging that they owe approximately $275,000 for production services and expenses related to performances and promotional activities. First, they filed a Verified Answer, denying virtually all of the complaint’s allegations, asserting numerous affirmative defenses, and asking the court to dismiss the complaint, award costs and attorneys’ fees where permitted, and grant any other relief the court deems appropriate. The Answer also argues there was no mutual agreement establishing the alleged balance owed, no privity with Pink Friday on several claims, no measurable benefit received for certain alleged services, and challenges multiple legal theories asserted by the plaintiff. At the same time, Nicki Minaj separately filed a motion to dismiss the only claim asserted against her personally, the unjust enrichment claim. Her attorneys argue that the complaint does not allege facts sufficient to hold her individually liable, does not plead any basis to pierce Pink Friday Productions’ corporate veil, does not identify Nicki as a party to any contract, and acknowledges that the invoices were directed only to Pink Friday Productions, not to Nicki Minaj personally. They also point out that the plaintiff has not attached or produced the alleged contract it relies upon. The defense also filed a Notice of Motion, a supporting attorney affirmation, a memorandum of law, exhibits, a Request for Judicial Intervention, and the Verified Answer, formally placing the dismissal motion before the court. The motion is currently scheduled to be heard on August 3, 2026, unless the court rules otherwise. In short, Nicki’s legal team is pursuing a two track strategy. ⚖️COURT UPDATE⚖️Stefon Diggs is asking a federal judge to DISMISS Christopher Griffith's counterclaim for Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress (IIED) before trial, arguing Griffith's own sworn testimony proves he DID NOT suffer the type of severe emotional distress required under Maryland law. In a July 14, 2026 memorandum supporting his motion for partial summary judgment, Diggs argues there is no genuine dispute of material fact regarding Griffith's emotional-distress claim because Griffith repeatedly testified under oath that he wanted to PRESERVE some form of a relationship with Diggs following the alleged May 22, 2023 incident. According to the filing, Diggs is not asking the court to decide who is telling the truth about the underlying events of May 22, 2023 or May 29, 2023. Instead, Diggs argues that even assuming Griffith's allegations were true, the IIED claim still fails because Griffith's own testimony does not establish the level of emotional suffering Maryland law requires. The memorandum highlights testimony from Griffith's California deposition in which he said he initially hoped to repair his relationship with Diggs, wanted to tell Diggs he respected his sexuality, and believed the two could still "coexist in a room," although he would not place himself in the same private situation again. Diggs also points to testimony in which Griffith explained that after the alleged incident he wanted to speak directly with Diggs because he viewed it as "a sexual attempt gone wrong" and hoped they could move forward if his personal boundaries were respected. Another major argument focuses on Griffith's own statements about his emotional injuries. According to Diggs, Griffith testified that his alleged mood swings and mental highs and lows were caused by the separate May 29, 2023 California incident, where Griffith alleges he was assaulted by third parties, not by the alleged Maryland incident involving Diggs. Diggs further cites Griffith's June 2026 deposition in this case, where Griffith allegedly explained that he delayed reporting the alleged May 22 incident to police because he still hoped the relationship with Diggs "could be corrected" and admitted that part of him still wanted to protect Diggs. The memorandum relies heavily on Maryland case law holding that intentional-infliction-of-emotional-distress claims are reserved for the most extreme cases and require emotional distress so severe that it disrupts a person's ability to function in everyday life. Diggs argues Griffith has offered no evidence of that level of disabling emotional distress and that his own testimony instead reflects a willingness to reconcile with Diggs and continue existing professionally in the same environment. Based on those arguments, Diggs asks the court to enter summary judgment dismissing only Griffith's Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress counterclaim. The remainder of Griffith's counterclaims, including battery, sexual battery, civil conspiracy, and defamation, would remain pending if the motion is granted.
