A District Stakeholders' Meeting under the MRMA 2.0 campaign was held on 27.07.2026 at CSB–MESSO, Pailapool. Scientist Ms. Kanuri Nandhini and DSO Shri Munindranath Burman reviewed Cachar's sericulture status, addressing challenges to boost development.

As part of the #MRMA2_0 campaign, a District Stakeholders' Consultation Meeting occurred on 25.07.2026, in Mokokchung, Nagaland. Key officials and sericulture stakeholders discussed developmental priorities and provided feedback to strengthen district sericulture implementation.

The five-day Farmers’ Skill Training Programme at CSB–MESSO, P3 Unit, Nongpoh concluded on July 25, 2026. Dr. Prabhat Borpuzari delivered a technical session on Muga seed production and graced the valedictory ceremony, where certificates were presented to all participants.

Under #MRMA2_0 , CSB conducted a District Stakeholders' Consultation Meeting at Chümoukedima, Nagaland, on 24.07.2026. Officials and stakeholders reviewed district sericulture, identified challenges, and finalized strategies for awareness and sustainable growth under #MRMA2_0.

As part of #MRMA2_0, CSB organized a District Stakeholders' Consultation Meeting at Barkhetry, Nalbari, Assam, on 24.07.2026. Officials, stakeholders, and lead sericulture farmers discussed district priorities and strategies for sustainable sericulture development.

The District Stakeholders' Consultation Meeting under MRMA 2.0 was held on 23.07.2026 at Tamulpur by the Central Silk Board in collaboration with DoS, BTC, Assam, bringing together stakeholders to prepare the district action plan for sustainable sericulture development.

Students from Tura Government College and Don Bosco College, Tura visited CSB–MESSO P4 Unit, Tura on 22.07.2026 for an educational exposure visit. Students gained insights into sericulture, scientific farm management, silkworm rearing techniques.

MRMA 2.0 District Stakeholders’ Consultation Meeting was held at Mushalpur, Baksa, BTC, Assam, focusing on district priorities, technology gaps, and interventions. Key recommendations were finalized for the District Action Plan to strengthen sericulture development.

MRMA 2.0 DSCC Meeting was held at Udalguri, BTC, Assam, focusing on district priorities, technology transfer, convergence, market linkages, and District Action Plan preparation. Bodo version of MRMA slogan “ANGNI RESHAM, ANGNI GWGGA” was released with stakeholder participation.

MRMA 2.0 District Stakeholders’ Consultation Meeting was held at Williamnagar, East Garo Hills, Meghalaya, focusing on strengthening Eri and Muga sericulture through scientific practices, technology adoption, and district-specific strategies for sustainable development.

CSB–MESSO, P3 Unit, Nongpoh inaugurated a five-day Farmers' Skill Training Programme on 21.07.2026. Dr. Abhishek Saini, IAS, DC, Ri Bhoi, Dr. M. Maheswari, Director, MESSO, and Smti. R. B. Lyngwa graced the event. A bilingual Muga rearing booklet was released.

CSB, in collaboration with the DoS, BTC, conducted the MRMA 2.0 District Stakeholder Consultation at Adabari, Kokrajhar (18.07.2026). Hon'ble Executive Member (Sericulture), BTC, and Director of Sericulture, BTC, guided deliberations on the District Action Plan for sericulture

The District Stakeholders Consultation Committee Meeting under MRMA 2.0 was held at Kajalgaon, Chirang on 17.06.2026, bringing together stakeholders to technology transfer and a District Action Plan. The Bodo MRMA slogan "ANGNI RESHAM ANGNI GWGGA" also released.

On 15.07.2026, scientists from CSB–ESSPC, Hosur visited Adopted Seed Rearers (ASRs). The ongoing eri silkworm rearing was inspected, farmers were advised on scientific crop management, and larval and cocoon samples were collected for pupal examination and pebrine testing.

During a six-day Silk Samagra-2 training in Cachar, Assam (09–14 July 2026) Organized by DoS, Cachar,Assam, a CSB-MESSO scientist lectured on Eri and Muga cultivation technologies. The programme included a practical exposure visit for 86 beneficiaries to the P3 Unit in Pailapool.

On 14.07.2026, the Director, MESSO visited P2 EBSF, Topatoli and reviewed the unit’s ongoing activities and developmental initiatives. The Director inspected seed production facilities, interacted with staff, and provided guidance to strengthen eri seed production, infrastructure

The Muga Farmers’ Skill Training Programme (06th-10th july 2026) for farmers of Tikrikilla District was conducted at the RSRS, Boko, by MESSO, P3 Unit, Adokgre. The programme focused on scientific Muga rearing to promote sustainable sericulture and improve farmers' livelihoods.

From July 6–10, 2026, CSB–MESSO’s P4 Unit in Tura hosted a five-day Muga Farmers’ Skill Development Training Programme for East Garo Hills beneficiaries. Supported by Meghalaya sericulture officials, the farmers received scientific cultivation training.

On July 6, 2026, CSB–MESSO’s P3 Unit, Kobulong, and Mokokchung's Department of Sericulture jointly visited Yimchalu and Khensa villages. They monitored ongoing Muga rearing, observing silkworms in their fourth and fifth instar stages.

On 03.07.2026, Scientist-C and three On 03.07.2026, a Scientist-C, three Sericulture Assistants from SSPC Bengaluru, and seven M.Sc. (Biotechnology) students visited ESSPC, Hosur. They were briefed on eri culture, seed production, and unit activities.
