Totino-Grace football advances to the Class 4A state championship with a 30-21 win over Orono. The Eagles scored three straight rushing TD’s in the 2nd quarter, including a 64-yard TD by Marquel Keten with ten seconds left in the half. T-G will get Becker in the 4A title game.

The first team to punch their ticket to the Bank is @TGEagleFootball, the Eagles shutout Hill-Murray, 24-0 in the Class 4A q-finals. Marquel Keten & Calvin McIntosh combine for 3 TDs. TG’s defense forced 4 turnovers and held a H-M offense that was averaging 41 ppg scoreless.

State tournament quarterfinal football kicks off tomorrow. @TGEagleFootball lost in the Class 4A quarters last year, the Eagles have made it their mission to advance past the state quarterfinal round this year. They’ll get Hill-Murray tomorrow night at 5:30.

6-0 for @TGEagleFootball, the #2 ranked team in Class 4A stayed unbeaten with a 34-14 win over Minneapolis North tonight. Marquel Keten ran for a boatload of yards and a TD, Josiah Young with a 17-yard TD before the half, and the TG defense came up with timely stops all night.

Expect @TGEagleFootball to be a contender again this year in Class 4A. The Eagles return back seven starters on defense, including Northern Iowa commits Josiah Young and Theo Thomas. T-G will stick to their traditional run-first, physical, football on offense.
