Our 4th & 5th Grade Teachers enjoyed 2 days of training through @REAP thanks to our @MountainViewFoundation! They took a deep dive into the teaching of morphology, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. The contributions to #DenDash will continue to make this training possible.

Our first graders started the week with a @classvr interactive lesson on Thomas Jefferson! They got to visit Mount Rushmore thanks to our @mvesfoundation and their commitment to ensuring that community donations go directly back to our students. #TheBestView

It was wonderful to honor our Classified Employee of the Year, Kate Drewicz, at the @cobbschools recognition luncheon. Ms. D does a phenomenal job building a love of reading for countless children at Mountain View in her role as our media center paraprofessional! #TheBestView

We are so grateful for the continued support that the Mountain View community has shown for the @kidsheartchallenge and the @american_heart! Our school was the top elementary school in @cobbschools and tonight we were recognized for being 5th in the nation! #TheBestView

@PiedmontChurch continues to provide amazing support to our school! Through the Love Does campaign, Mrs. Inez Finch, a former Mountain View parent and PTA president, fully sponsored a new sensory room for our students. Thank you for all you do for our community and children!
