I think ODIs are an anachronistic format and should be gradually phased out. Make T20 the main world competition format and focus on expanding the T20 World Cup to 24 teams. Make it a proper WC with sensible rounds, jeopardy, and make it a quadrennial event.

Maybe they don’t see the future of OD WC and T20 is their best bet (Shorter format, Quick results, more games and less waiting time for fans) to make cricket global. If that’s the case then @ICC should seriously consider scrapping the OD WC. A game should only have one World Cup
