I rarely comment on what is not my business. But as the Representative of Kaduna North, the affairs of the state regardless of my political affiliation is my business. I would like to publicly commend and acknowledge an affable and decent young politician that has helped many vulnerable people in Kaduna North, Hon. Abdulazeez Kaka, @Abunaah. Regardless of anyone’s personal feelings towards him, he has carried out numerous initiatives that have benefitted some of the most vulnerable members of our Kaduna North. His skill acquisition programs targeting young women stands out the most for me. And I am sincerely proud of him. These acts have eased the burden on me as the elected Representative of Kaduna North and I have always told him this. God knows best, but remember that you embody the courage and boldness that is rising among many young people in Nigeria. We are proud of you. No one that supports us should ever publicly or privately mock his efforts. As God is my witness, I do not accept it. I end with this quote. ‘’It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.’’ We stand in solidarity with you and anyone that experiences any sense of in justice regardless of affiliation and devoid of political expediency.
