ދިވެހި ލޮބުވެތި ރައްޔިތުންނަށް މި ޢީދުގެ ތަހުނިޔާއާއި ހެޔޮއެދުންތައް އަރިސްކުރަނީ، މާތްﷲގެ ޙަޟްރަތަށް ގިނަގިނައިން ޙަމްދުކުރައްވައި ތަކުބީރުގެ އަޑު އުފުއްލަވައި، އިސްލާމީ ރޫޙާ އެއްގޮތަށް ޢީދުގެ އުފާ ފާޅުކުރެއްވުމަށް އިލްތިމާސްކުރަމުން. ބޮޑު ޢީދުގައި ޢާއިލާތަކާއެކު ރަށްރަށަށް ދަތުރުކޮށް އިޖްތިމާޢީ ގުޅުންތައް ބަދަހިކުރުމަކީ ދިވެހީންގެ ޒަމާންވީ އާދައެއްކަމުގައި ވާތީ، މިއީ އަޅުގަނޑުމެންގެ އުޚުއްވަތްތެރިކަން ބަދަހިވެ، އަމާންކަމާއި ހިތްހަމަޖެހުން ކޮންމެ ރައްޔިތަކަށްމެ އިޙްސާސްވާ ޢީދަކަށްވުން އެދި ހެޔޮ ދުއާކުރަން.

On World Football Day, we celebrate the beautiful game that lives in the hearts of Maldivians across every island. Football is more than just a sport. It is a universal language that brings together people of all ages and backgrounds, inspiring healthier, happier lives and a shared sense of purpose. It teaches discipline, teamwork, and the importance of playing by the rules. It shapes not only athletes, but also responsible and principled citizens. On this day, it is my sincere hope that through sports, such as football, we can continue to build peace, strengthen our communities, inspire our youth to dream bigger, and build a better, sustainable future for all.

On World Football Day, I extend warm greetings to everyone who shares a passion for this beautiful game that brings people together across the globe. This administration remains steadfast in its commitment to advancing sports and healthy living in the Maldives. In addition to expanding and upgrading football infrastructure, including the development of FIFA-standard football grounds, we have introduced meaningful policy reforms such as amending the Sports Act to further decentralize sports development across the country. We are also focused on creating opportunities for the Maldives to host international football tournaments, strengthening our sporting culture, and giving our athletes greater exposure on the global stage. I am encouraged by the spirit of football that continue to unite our people and inspire future generations. Wishing everyone a very happy World Football Day.

It gives me great pleasure to convey my sincere felicitations to His Majesty @KingAbdullahII, His Excellency Prime Minister @JafarHassan, the Government and the brotherly people of Jordan on their Independence Day. May this joyous occasion strengthen the unity among the people of Jordan for their continued harmony and success. The Maldives and Jordan are bound by our common faith and shared values. ދިވެހި ވަޠަނީ ޚިދުމަތުގެ ފަންނީ ތަމްރީނު ޕްރޮގްރާމް ފުރިހަމަކޮށް 63 ޒުވާނުން މިއަދު ވަނީ ދަަސްވެނިވެފައި. މީގެ ތެރޭގައި ހިމެނެނީ، 17 އަހަރުގެ 37 ޒުވާނުންނާއި، 18 އަހަރުގެ 24 ޒުވާނުން އަދި 19 އަހަރުގެ 2 ޒުވާނުން. މި މުނާސަބަތުގައި ހުރިހާ ދަސްވެނިންނަށާއި، ދަސްވެނިންގެ ބެލެނިވެރިންނަށާއި އެންމެހާ މުދައްބިރުންނަށް އަދި އެމް.އެން.ޑީ.އެފް އާއި ޑިފެންްސް މިނިސްޓްރީގެ އެންމެހާ ބޭފުޅުންނަށް މަރުޙަބާ ދަންނަވަން. ދިވެހި ވަޠަނީ ޚިދުމަތުގެ ފަންނީ ތަމްރީނަކީ، ދިވެހި ވަޠަނީ ޚިދުމަތުގެ ޕްރޮގްރާމްގެ އިނީޝިއަލް ޓްރެއިނިންގ ފުރިހަމަކުރާ ދަރިވަރުންނަށް އަމާޒުކޮށްގެން ކުރިއަށް ގެންދެވޭ ޕްރޮގްރާމެއް. މި ތަމްރީނުގައި ބައިވެރިވި ދަރިވަރުންނަކީ، 2025 ޑިސެމްބަރު 28 ވަނަ ދުވަހު ދަސްވެނިވި ދިވެހި ވަޠަނީ ޚިދުމަތުގެ ޕްރޮގްރާމްގެ އިނީޝިއަލް ޓްރެއިނިންގގެ ފުރަތަމަ ބެޗުގެ ދަރިވަރުންނަށް ހުޅުވާލި ފުރުޞަތުގައި މި ތަމްރީނަށް ޝައުޤުވެރިކަން ފާޅުކުރި ދަރިވަރުން. 4 މަސް ދުވަހުގެ މި ތަމްރީނު ހިންގާފައިވަނީ 15 ޖެނުއަރީ 2026 އިން ފެށިގެން އެމްއެންޑީއެފް ސްކޫލް އޮފް އިންޖިނިއަރިންގ އެންޑް ލޮޖިސްޓިކްސް ގައި. މި ޕްރޮގްރާމްގެ ދެވަނަ ބެޗު އިތުރު 75 ޒުވާނުންނާއެކު 1 ޖޫން 2026 ގައި އިރާދަކުރެެއްވިއްޔާ ފެށިގެންދާނެ.

I warmly welcome the United Kingdom’s decision to suspend tariffs on tuna imports effective 20th May 2026. This important development will support British consumers while delivering meaningful benefits to the Maldives’ fisheries sector, strengthening fishermen’s incomes, supporting island livelihoods, and expanding opportunities for sustainably caught Maldivian tuna in the UK market. The Maldives is globally recognised for its world-leading pole-and-line tuna industry and its commitment to responsible and sustainable fishing practices. This milestone reflects the close partnership between the Maldives and the UK and the importance both countries place on sustainable trade and economic resilience. President Dr @MMuizzu inspects the progress of the Boduthakurufaanu Magu development project. During this visit, the President was briefed on the developmental progress by the MTCC Managing Director, DCP (Retd) Ahmed Saudee. The redevelopment project includes resurfacing Boduthakurufaanu Magu with asphalt and expanding sections of the road spanning from Izzudheen Jetty to the Henveiru Ferry Terminal.
